Shordie Shordie is an American music entrepreneur and the first rapper from Baltimore to ever become an RIAA certified Platinum artist. Prior to the plaques, Shordie was a member of the Baltimore trio “Peso Da Mafia” which became a hometown sensation early, due to the popularity surrounding their song and dance known as “Money Man.” Shordie’s solo efforts include the projects Captain Hook, >Music, and Memory Lane, a joint collaboration with Murda Beatz. Shordie is currently signed to Warner Records.

CAREER
Born Raquan Hudson on August 6, 1996, he grew up in the crime-filled streets of Northeast Baltimore. Shordie attributes his musical style to early influences from Rich Homie Quan, Lil Wayne, and Boosie Badazz. Captain Hook, Shordie’s first full-length solo album, was released in December 2018. It was spearheaded onto the charts by the fan-favorite single “Bitchuary.” Shordie quickly returned with heavy-hitting follow-up tracks Both Sides (Feat. Shoreline Mafia), Bonnie & Clyde, and FDP; all of which have amassed over 20M audio streams and 10M video views each.

Most recently, Shordie has introduced his joint project with super producer Murda Beatz which features the hit singles “Doctors,” “Seattle,” and “LOV Pt 2” (Feat. Trippie Redd). This is the precursor to his second full-length studio album “Captain Hook 2.”
