After completing Escape from Tarkov's Gunsmith Part 11 and claiming your rewards, Mechanic will offer you Gunsmith Part 12 once reaching Level 23. Similar to the KRISS Vector build, Gunsmith Part 12 doesn't require many attachments and can be completed very quickly, giving you fast XP and money. Unfortunately, we are over halfway through completing all of the Gunsmith tasks, meaning the easy money and XP are soon going to run out, however, you'll most likely be level thirty by the conclusion of the tasks.
The MPX is an accessible weapon, having Peacekeeper sell the weapon once reaching loyalty level 2 at a very cheap price. Additionally, where the MPX is a low-caliber weapon, the attachments mostly come at a cheap price on the Flea market, making for another cheap and affordable Gunsmith task.
Table of Contents
What Do You Need to Do for Gunsmith Part 12
Gunsmith Part 12 will require players to modify a SIG MPX 9x19 to meet the specific criteria:
- 60 Durability
- 300 or greater sighting range
- 52 or more ergonomics
- 4 kg or less in weight
- 180 or less recoil
- AR-15 Tactical Dynamics Skeletonized pistol grip
- Yankee Hill Annihilator multi-caliber flash hider
- Steiner LAS/TAC 2 tactical flashlight
Remember, when buying a weapon from the flea market to check the durability, players often list their shabby 30 durability weapons they found on dead scavs at regular prices. My advice would be to purchase the weapon directly from Peacekeeper. The SIG MPX commonly spawns in weapon crates around each map, unfortunately, raiders don't spawn with an MPX lowering chances of finding one on maps like Lighthouse and The Lab.
How To Complete Gunsmith Part 12
To complete Gunsmith Part 12, modify the SIG MPX with these attachments:
Attachment | Merchant | Loyalty Level |
AR-15 Tactical Dynamics Skeletonized pistol grip | Skier | LL3 (Barter) |
Zenit RK-1 tactical foregrip | Skier | LL3 |
Yankee Hill Annihilator multi-caliber flash hider | Mechanic | LL2 (Barter) |
Steiner LAS/TAC 2 tactical flashlight | Mechanic | LL3 |
MPX/MCX retractable stock pipe adapter | Peacekeeper | LL3 |
Armacon Baskak Stock | Skier | LL1 |
Due to one of the weapon attachments being of specific nature to the MPX, it will be a lot harder to find the attachment in raid, therefore as mentioned it's seriously recommended biting the bullet and paying full price from a trader or Flea market. This overall build shouldn't cost more than 150k roubles and overall is a relatively quick and easy build.
Gunsmith Part 12 Rewards
- +12,300 EXP
- Mechanic Rep +0.02
- 500 Dollars
- 525 Dollars with Intelligence Center Level 1
- 575 Dollars with Intelligence Center Level 2
- 2× AR-15 Vendetta Precision VP-09 Interceptor 5.56x45 muzzle brake
- 1× FN P90 Attenuator 5.7x28 sound suppressor
- 1× 5.56x45 SureFire MAG5-100 STANAG 100-round magazine
The rewards from Gunsmith Part 13 will reimburse you for your troubles, although, keep the money for future Gunsmith tasks. The SureFire STANAG 100-round magazine can definitely be sold, that thing is going to cause more trouble than it's worth. As you can probably tell from previous Gunsmith tasks, it's a worthy investment to upgrade your Intelligence Center within the hideout, as overall it will pay for itself.
