You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. I saw House of Flying Dagger over the weekend and have gotten the urge to be able to play out adventures and games like this (as well as other movies: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; Hero; Storm Riders; Warriors of Zu; etc etc etc). I have quite a few non OGL or d20 games that would work but I still very much am addicted to using my d20. Games like Hong Kong Action Theatre, Feng Shui, Wushu, etc are all really good games in their own right but do not do "it" for me. Dragon Fist isnt quite what I was wanting either (although I do have it and use it for more toned down asian fantasy sessions).

I've hit a huge roadblock though. The d20 system, while very modular and able to cover many action oriented genres, does not work well for recreating the amazing sequences in Fantasy Wuxia films. Its to straight forward and the strategy wargame combat is hardcoded into its system.

I have started to piece together a system that will be capabale of recreating the high-flying magical-sword and sorcery action of Wuxia films.

Characteristics of the System I am Brainstorming

Anywayz....I'm tired. I need sleep now. If there is any interest in these ideas I will post more as I come up with it.

I'm kinda waiting for Chris Pramas to present his revived game, Dragon Fist. I was lucky enough to get the original incarnation which uses the 2nd edition AD&D ruleset. I don't know you will be able to drop it into any other d20 game, but I'm hoping for that wuxia feel, even if it's for its own setting, Tianguo.
